7 Reasons Why You Should Date a Married Man

Everybody seems to have an opinion about dating married men. Well, if you’re the type that is attracted to married men and you need some justification to do it, then you’re in the perfect place. The following are 7 great reasons why you should follow your mind and date that married man:

1.It’s nobody’s business who you date

I read this first in Ronke Alao’s write-up and I perfectly agree. It shouldn’t concern anybody if you chose to date a married man or not, afterall you’re an adult and can make your own informed choices.  You are well aware of the consequences and if it doesn’t bother you, then it might as well not bother any other person. It’s your life jare.

2. You enjoy being the disposable choice

You will always be the choice he’ll give up against his wife. Hope you didn’t even bother to kid yourself into believing he’ll chose you over his wife/family in any circumstance. So just have this mind, as far you enjoy being second best (as Ronke will put it) then you’re right on track.

3. It feels great to be a sex object

What more could he want from you besides the newness of the treasure between your legs? Except of course you’re richer in which case it’s even worse, he wants both your money and sex. You’re his mystery sex tool and if you enjoy this position in his life, then again, you’re in the right track.

4. You love being used and dumped

We all love being used and dumped, don’t we? *rolling my eyes* So if this is one of the reasons why you venture into relationships, then a married fellow will give you exactly what you want. As a matter of fact, that’s like the specialty of all married men who engage in extramarital affairs—to get you to emotionally invest everything in them, and then pop! They put you where you belong, in the trash.

5. You enjoy being labeled as the loose, wayward, gold-digging home wrecker.

Maybe it’s true you don’t want to date him for his money (atleast that’s what you tell yourself). Maybe it’s true you’re with him because his wife is making him unhappy and you, like the angel you are, have come to rescue him from all the heart-ache his wife has been giving to him, moreover you love him. These may be true but another obvious truth is that only you believes that crap. The rest of us only see a desperate girl who wants to sow where she did not reap while simultaneously breaking a peaceful marriage. Again, if you don’t mind being given this prestigious label, then married men are definitely your type.

6. You love listening to fairy tales:

Fairy tales (FT) are meant to be enjoyed as kids, after which they are outgrown. If however you are the type that still enjoys listening to them, then married men are full of them. The naija version seems to be the most interesting. The most common FT line is, “I am so in-love with you, if it weren’t for my wife, I would’ve married you”. Well, if you believe in fairy tales that’s your own cup of zobo, nobody cares.

7. It feels great to book an appointment with Karma:

There’s no escaping from it, try as you may. You destroy someone’s marriage and hope to go scot free? Really? Don’t kid yourself. Your punishment will locate and deal with you wherever you are at the appointed time. You might not get the same treatment you freely gave onto others, it will most probably be worse and may span for a longer time. 

So, forget about what they say, as far as you identify with the above 7 reasons, then Ride-on Sister! Married men all the way!!!!
