2 Thessalonians 3:7-12
"7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for
we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; 8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought
with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of
you: 9 Not because we have not power, but to make
ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 10 For
even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work,
neither should he eat. 11 For we hear that there are
some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our
Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread".

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Revelation 20: 11-15
"11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
Man dies physically first and then for sinners, spiritually a second time. The second death tells us about the state of a man that dies in sin, where his soul is incarcerated into hell rather than into heaven. It is therefore imminent that we turn from our evil ways, accept Christ and follow His ways to make heaven and avoid this second death.

Today's Holy Word
1st Timothy 2: 1-3
"1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour"
It is important to intercede for our fellow individuals as well as for our Nation Nigeria and all our Leaders. This is good and acceptable in the eyes of the Almighty.

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Romans 8:31
"31. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
As far as we make up our minds to be followers of God, our safety is forever guaranteed because when He is on our side, no one can dare evil against us.

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
2nd Corinthians 12: 9-10
"9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."
The grace of God is all we need to be strong, only when we are weak is everything completely by his power. So when we are weak, we are really strong.

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Gen 37:5-11
"5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. 9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Luke 17: 11-17
"11. And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13. And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy onus. 14. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16. And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? "
Thanksgiving really matters to God. No matter how small, gratitude distinguishes you from every other person.

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Luke 10:17-19
"17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
The name of Jesus is all we need to surmount any form of affliction or setback. By His name we are empowered to win all our battles all the time, to ensure our stability at the platform of victory. Have a nice day ahead.

TODAY'S HOLY WORD
Revelation 1:8
"8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty".
He is the Mightiest and can never be rivalled. He has done more than we can even begin to imagine. So the least we can do is respect Him, Love Him, adore Him and follow His ways. Have a nice day

TODAYS HOLY WORD
Proverbs 12:1
"1. Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish."
In other words, whoever loves discipline loves to learn and whoever hates to be corrected is not wise. So dont feel down-cast if you are corrected by your parents, siblings, friends and colleagues. it is done in love that you might learn. Have a beautiful Monday.

Mattew 5:16

Todays Holy Word
1st Corinthians 10:13
"13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it".
We will be tempted in so many ways through out the course of our lives. In such times, there are usually two options, fall prey or rise above it. Don't let that situation define you, rise above it. It may seem overwhelming but God is faithful to us, with every temptation, he provides a way of escape that we may emerge victorious and with more reasons to bless His name.

Todays Holy Word
Roman 8:37-39
"37.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. 38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".
# Ten months this year have come and gone. To say that the going has not been tough is to say the least of all that we've been through this year. The good news however is that in all these things, in all our troubles, regardless of all our tribulations, we are conquerors through Him that loved us and nothing can seperate us from His love. Now, because we still have complete victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, getting discouraged or worse still, giving up is not an option. With His grace, it shall all be made easy. As we all step into this new month, may all that concerns us be perfected and our burdens discarded in Jesus name...AMEN!
